Screen Printing Process
Silkscreen printing process is to use silkscreen film as the printing pattern on the screen plate made of polyester or steel wire mesh. After exposure and development to form the screen printing pattern, the screen printing ink penetrates through the screen plate under the action of squeegee pressure to form a pattern with concave and convex three-dimensional feeling on the bottle. The main steps include:
1. Screen production: select the appropriate screen material and fix it tautly on the screen frame, use the screen printing film as the printing pattern, and form the required pattern on the screen by means of exposure development.
2. Ink preparation: according to the needs of the printing pattern, prepare the appropriate screen printing ink. The type and color of the ink need to match the design pattern to ensure the reproduction of the printing effect.
3. Printing process: Place the prepared glass bottle under the screen printing machine and adjust the position. Use the squeegee to spread the ink evenly on the screen, and through the pressure of the squeegee to make the ink penetrate through the open part of the screen and transfer it to the glass bottle to form the pattern.
4. Post-processing: After printing, the glass bottles need to be dried or left to dry naturally to fix the ink. In addition, other post-treatment processes, such as coating protection and heat treatment, may be performed as needed to improve the durability and appearance of the printed pattern.
